“The Wastelander” is a story about how Junker Queen and her family were cast out from Junkertown. Odessa “Dez” Stone was thrown into the brutal outback to survive in the wasteland. After years of rigorous fighting and clawing for every scrap to stay one step ahead, she found herself back into Junkertown to fight in the Reckoning. There she would fight for the right to rule over Junkertown. All she had to do was beat the current Junker King in combat – the same king that threw her family out of the city all those years ago.

The Junker Queen cinematic showcased her relentless drive and perseverance. She fought three separate enemies to take the crown, and declare herself the worthy leader of Junkertown. Using her magnetic gauntlet, she is capable of slinging around her axe and knife to reach enemies at a distance. It was this advantage that allowed Junker Queen to rise to the challenge and defeat the Junker King.

Junker Queen will be a playable character once the Overwatch 2 beta arrives on June 28.
