What Is The Roadhog Rework Release Date For Overwatch 2?
Roadhog is a hero who has been through several changes over the years. There has been some controversy around them as some members of the Overwatch community feel that it worsened him as a character. Blizzard has made a statement that Roadhog will be receiving changes soon during the middle of Season 7. Around November 7 and November 14, players can expect the update as that’s the middle of the Season. The dates provided are due to Blizzard releasing mid-season updates on Tuesdays. The changes to Roadhog will focus on his ability to protect the team and control space, preserve his core identity and playstyle, and distribute his power differently to reduce reliance on one-shot potential.
Many are anticipating this change as it can make Roadhog as great as he once was. His pick rate during competitive matches has been low following his changes. As it currently stands, the meta for Tank heroes during competitive matches are Zarya and Orisa. Maybe at one point, Roadhog will be able to enter the rotation.
