Overwatch 2 continues on with great seasons and brand-new content. Season 6 brought with it more change than any season to date with Story Missions, a New Hero and a brand-new Game Mode. Now though, as with all things, it must come to an end. Here is the Overwatch 2 Season 7 Release Date.
The likely Overwatch 2 Season 7 Release Date will likely be Tuesday, October 10 or Thursday, October 12. This is based on the previous schedules for the Overwatch 2 Season release dates.
As of right now, not much has been announced for the new season of Overwatch 2. There has been a new leak that seems to indicate the new map that will be added. This looks to be a control map on the shores of a Pacific or Polonysian country.
Along with that, it looks like a new Lilith-inspired skin could be on its way. This would likely be in conjunction with another Blizzard title in Diablo 4.
Lastly, Hazno seems to be the hero getting the new Legendary skin.
Once more is confirmed or known, this article will update to reflect that.
Season 6 was a massive one for Overwatch 2. It finally saw the release of Story Missions which should only add to the Overwatch Universe. Then it added Flashpoint as a new mode. With two maps accompanying it, this new mode was met with mostly praise. Lastly, the addition of Illari has similarly been one met with mainly praise as she brings about a unique kit.
While fans shouldn’t expect major updates like this all the time, it seems like the Overwatch 2 team has shown that they are able to handle bigger updates.
Up next with Season 8 will be a new tank hero which should bring quite a bit of excitement.
