The newest addition in Season 4 was Lifeweaver. He has become a very controversial hero with his ability to pull allies back from tricky situations. That being said, with some quick changes, he has started to fit in much more than upon release. Fans are still finding ways to frustrate their teammates but it seems to be happening less often.
Also, the mythic skin was for this Battlepass was for Sigma. It will be interesting to see if Season 5 will bring a new mythic skin for an already established hero or the newest support hero, Lifeweaver.
Season 4 was a good season for a lot of people and Season 5 will bring with it a lot of changes. It will be the second season on the new schedule to have just a map release and no heroes added. Also it will be the first one without map pools. Fans will certainly be excited to see that their favorite maps will be available at all times. There is also the promise of a better battlepass. Whether this will be added in Season 5 or not is not yet known.
When looking at the Overwatch 2 Season 5 Start Date, players will want to start preparing soon as it should start Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
