The Antarctic Map was the newest addition to Overwatch 2. It came in the form of a Control Point map with three different maps and some very cute Penguins. This was a nice addition to the game as there had not been a new Antarctic map that showed what was going on with Mei in quite some time. As a reminder, there was one for the snowball event many years ago.
Also, the mythic skin was for this Battlepass was for Kiriko, the latest hero. It will be interesting to see if Season 4 will bring a new mythic skin for an already established hero or the newest support hero that has yet to be revealed.
Season 3 was a good season for a lot of people and Season 4 will bring with it a lot of changes. It will be the first season on the new schedule to have just a hero release and no map added. Also it will be the last one with map pools as those are discarded. There is also the promise of a better battlepass. Whether this will be added in Season 4 or not is not yet known.
When looking at the Overwatch 2 Season 4 Start Date, players will want to start preparing soon as it starts Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
