Overwatch 2 Flashpoint is a whole new PVP game mode that will have teams fighting for the control of 3 key positions across the map before their opponents do. Here’s everything gamers will need to know about the game mode before the arrival of Overwatch 2 Season 6.
Launching August 10, Flashpoint will be the newest core game mode to arrive in Overwatch 2. Officially announced by the Overwatch League’s Flashpoint will be entering competitive play on August 25. The game mode will come with both a Quick Play and Competitive queue. While no official gameplay has yet to be released via Blizzard as mentioned previously, Flashpoint will have teams fighting for the control of 3 key positions across the map before they are captured by opponents. For Flashpoint, the two supported maps to accompany this brand-new mode are Suravasa and New Junk City. With the inclusion of Flashpoint, there will be a total of 5 game modes in Overwatch 2 if Control, Escort, Hybrid, and Push are taken into account.
