Overwatch 2 continues to catch up with the times. The team shooter just announced that it will be doing a brand new collaboration but not with a show or individual this time. They will be working with an up-and-coming K-pop group called LE SSERAFIM. Here is what was officially announced about the collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM.

Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM will be doing a major collaboration both in and out of game. The group consists of five individuals named, KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and HONG EUNCHAE. They are a newer group but one that is clearly on the rise.
They will be doing a music video with Overwatch 2 along with their next single, “Perfect Night”. This will debut on October 26 at 9 pm PDT / October 27 at 1 pm KST. They will also be doing a live performance of this at BlizzCon on November 4 at the conclusion of the event.
Along with this they will be adding exclusive in-game items, a brand new game mode and Overwatch 2 Hero Skins.
Most of the details are not yet known but will be revealed on October 30, 2023, and will then go live on November 1, 2023.
It is likely that each member will get an in-game skin of the hero of their choice. It will be interesting to see which heroes they picked. The game mode is also interesting as this feels completely out of left field but could be a welcome surprise if it is enjoyed by the community. Lastly, the in-game items will likely be weapon charms or icons.
