A new pre-show segment called “Overwatch League Happy Hour” had its third episode today at 3 pm PDT on Bud Light’s Twitch channel. This segment featured two OWL casters Robert “hexagrams” Kirkbride and Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat posed in front of two buckets of Bud Light, recapping the previous week of OWL action.
The show, which appears to be regularly hosted by Semmler and Hex, debuted two weeks ago and has run an episode each week. Haven’t heard of it? That’s probably because the OWL has not promoted it at all, with the only promotion of the show seemingly coming through Hex’s twitter account:
Check out Overwatch League Happy Hour with yours truly and @OnFireSemmler LIVE RIGHT NOW on https://t.co/G72WoQq8Jc! It’s a new show we’re working on and would love some feedback! Cheers!

Before this, Hex previously tweeted about their debut episode having gone live and where viewers could catch the VOD.
Hey, if you haven’t seen it, @OnFireSemmler and I are doing a BudLight show every week. Here is the VOD of our first episode, new episodes will come out every week! Let me know what you think!https://t.co/9O3ROBbuzg …

The show is around 11 to 12 minutes long each week and features the two casters discussing the storylines and matches of the previous week in a more relaxed setting. Considering the high production value it has and it’s featuring two OWL casters, one is left to wonder why this hasn’t been something with more press around it.
While it is unclear whether or not it will receive more promotion, it does seem to appear to be airing at the same time each week. So, if fans missed the previous week of action and need a quick recap, they may just have to look no further than the Overwatch League Happy Hour.
