Equinox got a great jump-start to their VALORANT endevor, as they also announced on Wednesday they are singing China Nguyen as their VALORANT team. As their only team with a roster currently, expect plenty of involvement into Riot’s first person shooter.
Founded by Chad Ford, Chris Aguilar, and Connor Knudsen, the organization is privately backed by and powered by an Oklahoma-grown team of professionals. The team has a combined 50 years of experience in esports, higher education, marketing, and cinema industries. With such a wide array of skills among the leadership team, Equinox is aiming to branch out to all aspects of the esports scene.
Alongside their promise to involve themselves in competition, Equinox is planning an extensive content-creation branch. With a new 6,000 square feet facility in north Oklahoma City, there is plenty to room to grow. Check out any news and notes on the Equinox site here, where fans can also find their socials and additional information about the org.
