In an official press release Golden Guardians have sent Matthew “Deftly” Chen to Cloud9 for Yuri “Keith” Jew. In the announcement, they have also confirmed that Keith would take over the starting Bot Lane roll for the team.

This is not a huge surprise for Deftly as he had been recently benched in favor of Ian Victor “FBI” Huang. Deftly will likely become Cloud9’s starting ADC for their Academy team. The more surprising part is that FBI had been playing better than expected. It seems as though Golden Guardians had felt they needed someone more experienced.
Keith has been playing out of his mind so far this summer with a 7.15 KDA. He also has stage experience with TeamLiquid, TSM and Echo Fox in the past in the Bot Lane. He has been waiting for his chance to get back out on stage and will get it. This time though he will be stepping in to help a slumping Golden Guardians try to save their season.
