Call of Duty as a franchise has always been considered to be a competitive game. With the introduction of ranked play in the title’s battle royale mode Warzone, players are able to take it to the next level. While also being able to earn rewards for Multiplayer, players can also unlock a variety of rewards in Warzone as well. Now with Modern Warfare III released and rank play coming for this title, when does rank play end for Warzone?

Along with rank play for Modern Warfare II, rank play for Warzone will deactivate on December 6. This is the date that Season 6 of Modern Warfare II will come to an end. While this news may be upsetting to some, rank play won’t be going away for good. Modern Warfare III will be receiving a rank mode along with the rank mode for Warzone being enabled again. A little patience will be needed until this happens, however.
Ranked play for Modern Warfare III start sometime with Season 01 Reloaded in January, while Warzone Ranked Play will return in early 2024. There isn’t an exact date given out yet, but this time period does make the most sense. The official Treyarch Twitter/X page has made a statement that they will be releasing more info and updates in the coming weeks on Ranked for MWIII and Warzone.
