
Call of Duty as a franchise has always been considered to be a competitive game. With the introduction of ranked play in Modern Warfare II, players are able to push themselves to the limit. Not only can they rank up, but they can also unlock a variety of rewards in the process. Now with Modern Warfare III released and rank play coming for this title, when does rank play end for Modern Warfare II?

All good things must come to an end at some time. In this case, ranked play for Modern Warfare II and Warzone are in fact being shut down. This is due to the fact that ranked play is going to be included in Modern Warfare III soon. As it currently stands. Season 6 of Modern Warfare II is the last Season ranked is going to be available. Season 6 for MWII ends on December 6. Warzone will also be shut down along with it as well.
Ranked play for Modern Warfare III start sometime with Season 01 Reloaded in January, while Warzone Ranked Play will return in early 2024. There isn’t an exact date given out yet, but this time period does make the most sense. The official Treyarch Twitter/X page has made a statement that they will be releasing more info and updates in the coming weeks on Ranked for MWIII and Warzone.

Bro why tf would y’all get rid of ranked play in MW2, Some people don’t want to play MW3 as there has been feed back of the game being not quite as what people’s expectations were hoping for. Some people enjoyed the Ranked Play in MW2 and loved the competitiveness. So again, WHY REMOVE THE GAME MODE FOR.
