Teams are changing. For the better or worse, no one is entirely sure. However, for the many teams, they are just trying to get to Champs in however way possible. Here are some teams to look out for in Major 4 of the CDL after the rostermania period.
First, however, we need to look at all the confirmed and rumoured teams going into CDL Major 4 qualifying to get a better understanding of the competition.
If this rumour comes to fruition, who knows what it could mean for the team. Davpadie seemed to be a good choice to bench. However, the change to a possible 4 AR meta could hurt the team overall. Especially when giving up a great SMG talent in Vivid.
This is an obvious choice if the rumours are indeed true. Illey not being able to come back to the team will be a huge blow for the OpTic boys as they try to make a good impression going into Champs. However, if Prolute shows out as he once did before, who knows what this team is capable of.
They are sticking to what they know in Kismet, Paulehx, Crimsix, and Hyrda. However, will Hyrda’s rumoured moves get in the way of their final push to make COD Champs? The team is looking great, but with a tough qualifying round and schedule, can they make champs?
Across the entire CDL community including pros, former pros, and fans, they are saying that this was the worst possible move they could have done. Especially with the Asim move. Neptune is a like-minded player, however, after his stint with the Subliners, everyone is doubting his talent.
Overall, it is going to be a really interesting stage, to say the least. This qualifying stage and major could solidify teams’ spots at COD Champs in Los Angeles. It truly is make-it-or-break-it for the middle-of-the-pack teams.
