Several teams finalized their rosters earlier in the week as Rostermania slows down. Other players have been signed and moved on to new teams. Here is what happened in the last week of Rostermania.
The Los Angeles Thieves and Minnesota Rokkr Finalize Their Rosters
The Los Angeles Thieves and Minnesota Rokkr both finalized their rosters this week. The Thieves added two players to their roster. The first is Sam “Octane” Larew who was released from the Seattle Surge earlier in Rostermania. The other player to make the Thieves squad is Dylan “Envoy” Hannon. Envoy was released by OpTic Chicago earlier in Rostermania. With Envoy and Octane being added to the roster, the Los Angeles Thieves announced that their roster is complete. Making the roster along with Envoy and Octane are Zachary “Drazah” Jordan and Kenneth “Kenny” Williams.
The Minnesota Rokkr weren’t active during Rostermania, and confirmed that their roster will stay the same heading into the 2022 season. The Minnesota Rokkr have Dillon “Attatch” Price, Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak, Preston “Priestahh” Greiner and Eli “Standy” Bentz.
How other teams are looking
Several other teams are also looking good heading into the 2022 season. The reigning champion Atlanta FaZe are keeping with the same roster that won them the championship. The roster ended with a 37-4 record and topped the standings with 525 points in the regular season. The Atlanta FaZe look to bring the same success to the 2022 season.
The Florida Mutineers also have not made any changes to their roster. The team ended in 8th place with a record of 17-19. However, OpTic Chicago knocked them out of the post season in the first round.
The London Royal Ravens are looking for four players and a coach. This is after releasing every player except Marcus “Afro” Reid. The team finished in 10th with a record of 8-26 and did not make the playoffs.
The Paris Legion and Seattle Surge are looking to fill their entire squad. Both teams released their rosters and coaches after not qualifying for the playoffs in the 2021 season.
