Possible Implications due to iLLeY’s Return

Publish Date: July 5, 2022

OpTic Texas has been on the ropes when it comes to finding a substitute that could replace iLLeY if the worst happened. Well now, since they are back playing with iLLeY, here are some possible implications due to iLLeY’s return.

As of right now, the team is still undetermined. Dashy, Shotzzy, and Scump are still trying to search for what they once had back in Major 1 of the CDL season. Analysts, former pros, and fans alike are starting to worry if the team could be in utter shambles.

Although many are growing worrisome when it comes to the situation. Things are looking up as Shotzzy and Rambo recently announced that iLLeY could very well be coming back. OpTic Texas have recently been scrimming with iLLeY back on the roster and are reportedly frying their opponents. Could this mean OpTic Texas is back?

First Implication – They Get Better, A LOT Better

For being the first implication, it is pretty self-explanatory. Since iLLeY has stepped back, the team has never looked the same. They have average placing after placing since. With iLLeY back on the team, it could bring the IGL back into it. Which may lead to it being a major factor in the team’s overall success towards the end of the season.

Second Implication – They Get Worse

Although highly unlikely, this could very well be a possibility due to iLLeY’s lack of practice within the game with the team. It could be very new to them on LAN as well as he has not played on LAN in about three months. All this is highly unlikely if the rumors regarding OpTic frying in scrims are true.

Third Implication – iLLeY Steps Away for the Third Time

This could be the thing that will possibly break this team as a whole. Everyone is talking about how iLLeY and OpTic need to make a decision together whether to play or not. If he backs out yet again. Is Prolute back in? General? Is there another player they need to pick up instead?

If this happens again, who knows what OpTic Texas will do. One thing is for sure, however, it will be very interesting to see if the team will grow to be a great one or not.
