CDL Major 2 Tournament Predictions

Publish Date: March 31, 2022

With qualifying coming to an end, there are many things that the Call of Duty community is looking forward to when it comes to this next major. With that, many teams and players are looking to show out for their fans and teams in order to bring home the Major 2 trophy. Here are some CDL Major 2 Tournament Predictions.

Placement Predictions

  1. OpTic Texas
  2. Atlanta FaZe
  3. London Royal Ravens
  4. Boston Breach
  5. New York Subliners
  6. Los Angeles Guerrillas
  7. Toronto Ultra
  8. Paris Legion
  9. Minnesota ROKKR
  10. Florida Mutineers
  11. Seattle Surge
  12. Los Angeles Thieves

Team Predictions

Team to Watch – Atlanta FaZe

By far, FaZe will be the team to watch. Considering they struggled as of late. However, what really is surprising is seeing Simp in this Major 2 tournament. It will be interesting to see if his previous absence affects their play against the best of the best, specifically, OpTic. If this team gets hot, the Call of Duty team could see the return of the “Invincibles”.

Dark Horse – Boston Breach

Coming off of a great qualifying stage for this qualifier. This team is looking to be one of the best teams in the game. Their Kryptonite, however, is the top three teams, London, Atlanta, and Texas. It will be interesting to see if Capsidal and ZinniCxt can have a great effect on their gameplay in order to surprise us all and win this Major.

Team Feeling the Pressure – Los Angeles Thieves

The Los Angeles Thieves have been one of the most disappointing teams. Considering they are winless this qualifying is just one underlying reason. The other underlying reason is due to the fact that they simply cannot win maps, even against struggling teams like Seattle. If there is another bad placement for this Major, could it mean for change for LAT?

Player Predictions

Player to Watch – Cellium (Atlanta FaZe)

He could be the one FaZe needs in order to get off. However, if Simp does not play well, it will not matter. However, if Simp plays well enough, it will mean that Cellium will need to play at a high level as usual just in case Simp does not live up to his name and play terribly. Cellium will be the one that may win or lose the trophy for FaZe.

Surprise Player of the Tournament – PaulEhx (New York Subliners)

He is the new guy on the block. Well, not really. However, he is the newest player this season besides Spart, who is a sub. Paul could be the guy that could surprise us all if he lives up to the hype. This is why he is a player to watch this week as he might be able to turn up to have New York go on a Cinderella run.

Player on the Hot Seat – Octane (Los Angeles Thieves)

He is the player that everyone is looking at, including his team and fans. All the pros, casters, and former pros are looking at what Octane does this week. If he does not perform, could it mean that he will no longer have a team? Could it be possible that he will not play ever again this season or get traded?
