In Call of Duty, there are plenty of ways for gamers to dive into the game. From campaigns to multiplayer modes, there is a little bit of everything. And now, with the addition of the free Warzone mode, another layer has been added. With a slew of modes, and some new ones that occasionally get added, which one is best for new soldiers?
Although each mode can be mastered, one, in particular, stands out. This is one where defense comes into play. It also blends some territorial elements. Furthermore, it’s a mode that fans of the Call of Duty League are all too familiar with. It’s played twice during every match and its concept is pretty simple. This mode is certainly a good option for anyone fresh to the game.
Hardpoint
This is a mode that gets mentioned a lot on here when talking about the Minnesota Rokkr. That’s because it has by far been their best mode as even when in danger, they manage to get wins. But this is a great mode for new players because it blends multiple elements of Call of Duty into a one goodie bag. So essentially, it’s a great way to learn each aspect of the game while playing.
In Hardpoint, the goal is to head to a designated location and defend that area from the enemy team. By holding a position in the location, teams will earn points. However, after a certain period of time, the Hardpoint spot moves to a new location. So this means players can’t simply just camp out in one area. Whichever team gets to 250 points first wins the match, so the concept is pretty simple.
And don’t worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to score some kills. So it has a bit of deathmatch mixed with territorial action. This is why Hardpoint is the best and most fun mode for new players.
