Introducing Modern Warfare III Zombies Lore

As a multinational squad of elite Operators rallies to support the bold members of Task Force 141, they must confront an overwhelming onslaught of the undead—a dire consequence of an even greater, looming enemy menace.

A military squad, led by Viktor Zakhaev, conducting a covert operation in a hotel. They discover four decomposed bodies around a table with a mysterious device containing vials. Amid a fierce firefight with security forces, Zakhaev deploys one of the vials, releasing a transforming purple fog that turns people into zombies.

SSO Kate Laswell and Sergeant Johnny “Soap” MacTavish lead a new team, receiving a briefing on Operation Deadbolt to contain the threat. They introduce the Private military company Terminus Outcomes, with Jack Fletcher as their leader, as living enemies, and reveal that the vials contain enriched Aetherium.

The team, including SSO Selma Greene and Captain Sergei Ravenov, receives the task of confronting the outbreak, guided by the principle of “Nothing gets in, nothing gets out.”
