The Call of Duty franchise has always been well known for providing players with Double XP Tokens for players. These allow players to earn more XP after every match that they play more than normal. There are a few viable methods that players can use in order to receive Double XP Tokens. While some options may be more exciting and easier than others, players should take advantage of them whenever they can.
Believe it or not, players can actually receive Double XP Tokens just play playing through the Campaign mode. Given that this campaign is the shortest one in the entire Call of Duty franchise, it shouldn’t take you too long to complete. You won’t get Tokens for every mission you complete, however, you will get one for the following missions.
Call of Duty is infamous for doing different promotional events and collaborations with different companies. During these events, a majority of the time there will be opportunities to receive Double XP Tokens. Some of these instances include doing things such as simply redeeming a code. Some of the notable companies that do this Mountain Dew, Monster Energy Drink, and more. Currently, there is a promotion going on with Little Ceasars Pizza, Hungry Jacks, and Burger King.
Whether you pay for the Battle Pass or earn the items on the free track, this is a surefire way to get Double XP Tokens. Each Battle Pass every Season will have them included so all you have to do is just play the game how you normally would.
There will be certain periods where Call of Duty will have Double XP Weekends giving players extra XP during the weekends. You can find these announced on either the game’s official social pages or through in-game announcements. It’s important to take advantage of these opportunities when they arise.
There are two main types of Double XP Tokens in Modern Warfare III. There’s double Player XP and double Weapon XP. Player XP will level up your player rank faster and Weapon XP will level up your weapons giving you access to other weapons and attachments. These Tokens can last up to 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or even an hour.
