Ever since the iteration of next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S, games have been getting bigger. Many titles released such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and NBA 2K24 have had download sizes over 100GBs which can take up a lot of storage space on a console. Unfortunately in Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s III case, it gets even worse. The file size for Modern Warfare III is bigger than before on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles.

Too many players’ surprise, installing all of the contents that come with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III comes to a ridiculous size of 213GB. This amount in itself can cause storage issues with a majority of players, especially for those without a hard drive attached to their console. Even for players who do have extra storage, 213GB for just one game alone can still be a problem. Following a tweet made by the game’s official Twitter page, it’s suggested that players should uninstall certain modes like Warzone or Zombies if they want to save space as they also require a handful of memory in order to play.
