The latest Call of Duty is on its way, just in time for the holidays. But for those who may not want to wait for Black Friday or the holiday season, they will be able to grab it soon. Here is exactly when the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Release Date will be.

So there are a few things to clarify with this release that are surely confusing a lot of players and fans. For starters, this is not the same Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 that came out on the Xbox 360 over a decade ago. Also, this is not a remake of that game. To add to the confusion even more, yes, Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s campaign is already out. This was made available about a week early for people who decided to pre-order the game.

Now with all of that out of the way, multiplayer is finally on the way. If anyone is being honest with themselves, this is mainly the reason that people play Call of Duty in the first place. The multiplayer was one of the most world-changing video game parts ever. People look back at the original Call of Duty Modern Warfare multiplayer and compare it to games like Quake, StarCraft II, Halo and CSGO.

As for the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Release Date, players will be able to start getting in around Midnight local time on Friday, October 28. This is confirmed especially for Midnight EST in the US but apparently may affect times in Europe.
