Atlanta Faze are back on stage Saturday, March 7, against the Florida Mutineers. CDL Los Angeles is a two-day event, March 7-8, that will host eight teams – Atlanta Faze, Florida Mutineers, Optic Gaming LA, LA Guerrillas, Minnesota Røkkr, Seattle Surge, New York Subliners and Dallas Empire. Here is a look at the Atlanta Faze: Week 4 Preview.
Season Record: 6-0 | League Standing: 2nd Place
1st Week: 2-0 | Map Count: 6-1
2nd Week: Bye Week
3rd Week: 4-0 | Map Count: 12-3
After beating the Dallas Empire and the New York Subliners in week one and securing their first championship in week three, the Atlanta Faze are undefeated and sit at solo second behind the Chicago Huntsmen. If Faze can make a run in LA, they will take over first place.

Atlanta will beat Florida 3-1. They faced off against the Florida Mutineers in the CDL Atlanta Finals and took them out in a comfortable 3-0 sweep. The Mutineers reverse swept Chicago, the league’s top seed, to earn a spot in the finals; so if Florida come out hot, they might be able to steal a Search or Domination from Faze on a map like Gun Runner or St. Petrograd.
Because of how fast Atlanta players are, Florida will need to step up and match their energy to avoid a slow start. Players like Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson and Cesar “Skyz” Bueno will be the players to watch. Their consistency will give Florida a fighting chance against Atlanta.
Faze are no longer undefeated in Search and Destroy. As more and more teams get in the groove of things, the series will start to get closer. It will be difficult for Florida to knock the Kings from their throne, but not impossible.
The remainder of the weekend is to be determined.
