The AF Academy team have split up according to a tweet sent by Alex “Zaptius” Bonilla. They were previously representing the Atlanta Faze in the Challenger’s League.
This announcement comes after a poor showing at the Call of Duty launch weekend in Minnesota.
The future of the AF Academy remains unclear. The Atlanta Faze have yet to comment on the split or who will represent them in the Challenger League moving forward. GRVTY and JurNii are still listed as subs for the Atlanta Faze and have been recent features on the Faze YouTube accounts.
Regardless, these players are full of talent and will likely find success wherever they end up.
