Mass Shooting at Madden 19 Tournament
UPDATE: Taylor “spotmeplzzz” Robertson and Eli “trueboy” Clayton have been identified as victims of the shooting.
While it has been reported by local news stations that there are 11 victims and four killed at Chicago Pizza at Jacksonville Landing, police have not confirmed any specific details, but called the tragedy a “mass shooting”, which is often defined as when at least four victims have been killed.
UPDATE: Memorial Hospital’s spokesman Pete Moberg told CNN that the hospital is treating at least three involved patients, all in stable condition.

Drini Gjoka, a player for CompLexity Gaming, tweeted that a bullet had hit his thumb, CompLexity confirms that the player is safely away from the scene. Founder and CEO of CompLexity Jason Lake urges media to not contact Gjoka and to approach Lake for information.

Sheriff Reports that a Suspect is Dead
UPDATE: A Los Angeles Times article reports that the shooter was a losing competitor in the tournament. Another competitor, Steven “Steveyj” Javaruski, says that the shooter “targeted a few people” and then shot himself.
UPDATE: Official update from Sheriff detailed that there are no outstanding suspects.
As of 2:54, Jacksonville’s Sheriff’s Office has reported that a suspect is dead at the scene and that it is unknown if there is a second suspect. As detailed in the tweet below, SWAT is searching for individuals hiding in locked areas, advising them to remain where they are.
