The Guangzhou Charge have announced the addition of Rohit “Curryshot” Nathani as a strategic coach.
Any Contenders fan worth their salt knows the name Curryshot. Curryshot has been around the scene for quite some time. He has been a coach for several Contenders teams, including One.PoinT, Mayhem Academy, and, most recently, Revival. Working alongside head coach Hyo-jin “J1N” Cho, Curryshot’s experience will definitely come in handy as the Charge look towards potentially making season playoffs.
They are currently tied with the Chengdu Hunters at 12 on the season standings, right where the cutoff is. His addition to the Guangzhou Charge’s coaching staff comes in after the Charge’s acquisition of Joona “Fragi” Laine and Hyung-seok “Bischu” “Aaron” Kim. With Stage 4 starting tomorrow, the Charge are looking to go all out for the final stage of the season with these signings.
