While it is true that Diablo 4 will have microtransactions player’s wallets can rest easy as nothing spent with real money will be paid to win. Diablo IV will only have a Cosmetics Shop and Battle Pass. Of course, the cosmetics shop is purely cosmetic but even the battle pass won’t have any stat-affecting items.
A Look In The Battle Pass
Assimilating into modern-day gaming, Diablo 4 will have a Battle Pass with both a free and premium track. Nothing in the Battle Pass will be affecting the player’s stats, This goes for any weapon or armor earned. The pass will have premium currency, free tiers, seasonal cosmetics and aesthetics and season boosts that accelerate XP. The pass will cost 1000 Platinum which is around $10. There will be an accelerated pass that can be purchased for 2,800 Platinum ($25 USD). Before buying the pass, players should know that there will be currency they can use to reduce the cost of the next season’s battle pass but it will NOT be enough to fully buy it outright.
