According to Yoshi, Deadlock’s lead developer, the next Major Update will go live sometime in December. While this could always be adjusted to the illustrious “Valve Time,” fans can put at least some stock in the potential for a December 2025 release date for Deadlock’s massive update.

What to expect in Deadlock’s next massive update

According to several leaks that we have covered on our YouTube channel, Dead Unlocked, fans should expect three major changes in the December Major Update for Deadlock.

1. Map 3.0: Final art pass, new Base, new Troopers, new Walkers
2. Street Brawl ARAM mode: Exact details on this are still slim
3. New Heroes: Could be around six based on leaks
