The update everyone has been waiting for is finally here. A new game mode, new heroes, items and more have finally hit Deadlock. But what do all of these new additions mean for the game? Here is a quick breakdown of the New Deadlock Items, Ballistic Enchantment and Recharging Rush.

New Deadlock Items

These two New Deadlock Items are for the main game only. There are new items that have been added for the new mode “Street Brawl” as well but they are only for that mode.

Ballistic Enchantment

Cost- 3,200

Below is the official item description.

“Imbue an ability with increased range. Dealing damage with that ability grants you increased weapon damage per target hit.”

Breakdown

Adding range to any ability is generally going to be a good thing. There are many gun heroes who are going to benefit from this greatly. Area of Effect Abilities are especially going to open up teamfights and allow for some heroes to ramp up even earlier. Expect this item to get used on most gun heroes. We have some suggestions listed below.

Recharging Rush

Cost- 1,600

Below is the official item description.

“Dealing significant Weapon Damage replenishes a charge for each of your charged abilities.”

Breakdown

This is going to be a great item for melee heroes and those who can chase down opponents. The goal will be to quickly get to the threshold, especially in the mid and late game. Then you have opportunities to layer abilities, damage and the chase in a very effecting manner. We have some suggestions listed below.
