A major update for Deadlock has just dropped with new heroes, a new menu and much more. This will be arguably the biggest update in some time and makes it feel like the game is getting even closer to launching. Here is a look at how to participate in the New Deadlock Hero Vote.
An interesting idea by the Deadlock Devs is to allow us to pick the next hero with Hero Voting. This can be found in the hideout on a table just to the left of the play option and before you get to the new training area.
They are going to release a new hero every other day and they started with Mina. You will be able to cast your vote for which hero you would like to see next. To get more votes you will have to play games. It looks like each game that you play, you will get 1 more vote. It will be interesting to see who gets in next and who gets in last.

They announced that these heroes will get released Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the next two weeks. After that, it will be worth watching to see what is next. Valve and the Deadlock devs hav had a lot of major content updates so far in 2025 and it feels like a full open Beta could be closer than ever.
Either way that brings to official roster to 32 heroes and they will all be out by the end of August 2025.
