Many Deadlock players will never touch the custom crosshair settings, but they should. A well-built crosshair doesn’t just help with aim; it can actually give you useful in-game information.
To make a custom crosshair in Deadlock, go to the game’s settings under the “Game” section, or search “reticle” or “crosshair.”
From there, you will be able to make a custom reticle. I would start with these settings and changes:
Once you’ve got a starting point, test it in the practice range and tweak from there.
My crosshair is built around one idea: measuring distance for Ability Range checks.
This is huge in Deadlock. So many abilities rely on spacing—auras, AoE damage, and engage ranges. Instead of guessing, my crosshair gives me some of that information passively.
You can also adjust your ADS reticle for longer ranges if you play heroes that zoom in. Whether you use the one I outlined in the video or not, I highly recommend using one that you like.
