The next big Hero Shooter is out and fans are flocking to play Deadlock. Has Valve found its next big hit? One of the things that new fans will want to know and old fans will want to be reminded of is the answer to, How Many Heroes are In Deadlock?
As of right now, the answer to How Many Heroes are In Deadlock is 32.
This comes after a major update in August, 2025 where they added 6 New Heroes to Deadlock at once. There have been other major hero releases and ones added individually but this latest update was one of the biggest ones in the game’s history.

There are a few hroes that are available in the alpha hero labs. Some of these make it to the game and others do not. This is updated relatively regularly and you can tell that the Deadlock Devs are working on new abilities and designs regularly. It will be interesting to see if any of these make it into the game, if their abilities do or if they are completely ditched.
