With so many leaks swirling around the Deadlock community, it’s hard to know which unreleased heroes players should actually expect, and when we should expect them. Names like Venator, Rem, Fencer, Airheart, Graves, Pepper, and Silver have all surfaced in recent weeks, but their development progress varies wildly. Here’s everything we know about these unreleased heroes.

Venator – The Most Likely New Deadlock Hero

Venator is by far the most complete hero in development. Early placeholder footage surfaced months ago, but newer internal images reportedly show a fully polished model that looks ready for launch.

Venator Ability Highlights

• Assault Rifle: 30-round primary weapon

• Grenade: Burst damage, true-damage DoT, -40 anti-heal

• Shotgun: Knockback with wall-stun potential

• Bear Trap: Roots and reveals

• Crossbow Ultimate: Piercing bolts that execute low-health enemies

Rem (formerly Familiar)– Support Hero With Unique Utility

Another verified hero is a small creature currently referred to as Rem. The model is unrigged but visually complete, featuring blue pajamas, white eyes, and support-focused theming.

Familiar Known Details

• Can steal Sinner’s and Bridge Buffs

• Can attach to allies

• Charges supportive orbs similar to Zenyatta (Overwatch)

• Low personal damage, high team value

Fencer – A Highly Mobile Duelist

Fencer appears to be the most developed hero outside of Ventor. The model features horns, blonde hair, and a red coat, paired with a fencing blade as the primary weapon.

Leaked Fencer Abilities & Appearance

• Short dashes that damage on impact (Fiora/Yasuo-like)

• Parry that negates debuffs

• Large thrusting AOE ultimate

Fencer & Necromancer First Look! Two Potential New Deadlock Heroes Leaked Screenshots (kind of)

Silver (formerly Shapeshifter), Pepper, & Airheart – Early Development Concepts

Three additional names, Silver (formerly Shapeshifter), Pepper, and Airheart, appear to be in very early stages:

• Silver: Werewolf transformation ultimate, melee-focused, no final model yet

• Airheart: Rocket-based aerial hero similar to Pharah, likely reusing older Skyrunner concepts

• Pepper: Described as a unicorn girl with bright bubblegum colors and baton-style weapons, remains the most mysterious of the group. Leak details are extremely early-stage and may change significantly.

Graves (formerly Necromancer)

We don’t know much about Graves so far outside of their model, which was traced over in the link below. This hero has also potentially gone under the codename Gravedigger and Necromancer.

Boho and Older Deadlock Hero Prototypes Appear Shelved (or so we think)

Heroes like Boho, Skyrunner, Fathom, Raven, Wrecker, and Trapper appear to belong to an older experimental phase of Deadlock. While their ideas may reappear later, the heroes themselves seem to be effectively scrapped for now.
