Deadlock Leak Shows Cosmetic Trading Game Code

Deadlock will undoubtedly have incredible cosmetics when the game one day releases for the masses to play, either in an Open Beta or full release, and a new leak indicates these cosmetics may be tradable and recyclable. Here’s more on the potential future of cosmetics trading in Deadlock.

Cosmetics Trading Leaked in Deadlock Game Files

Popular Valve news source and leaker, Gabe Follower, recently posted images of game files in Deadlock that indicate that cosmetic trading and recycling could be coming to Deadlock.

The game code from the embedded post below says the following things, among others related to the potential future of cosmetic items:

• ToGCRecycleMultipleItems
• EGCMsgUseItemResponse_CannotUseWhileUntradable

However, as of right now, these should be taken as very work-in-progress and subject to change. As such, these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt.
