The official Deadlock Deadman Danny Release Date has not been confirmed yet.
His release date will depend on where Deadman Danny finishes in the City Never Sleeps fan vote. Valve is releasing two of the six new heroes each week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET. Once Deadman Danny’s release date is revealed, this article will be updated.
Until then, below are all of the dates that he could be released along with our prediction for which date Deadman Danny will grace The Cursed Apple.
The release order for Deadman Danny and the other five City Never Sleeps heroes is being decided by Deadlock players through the new fan voting system.
Voting takes place in the Pregame lobby. Players can vote for the hero they want to see released next, and votes from players on the winning team are worth double. A player’s first win of the day also provides double voting power.

If we had to predict the Deadman Danny’s Deadlock Release Date, we would say Friday, October 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET.
Deadman Danny is potentially one of the workshop heroes that was formerly known as Wrecker. This could help his cause in getting votes as soon as possible. The only thing really holding him up will be the fact that Rat King and maybe Baba, because of her Mech, will get a lot of early votes.
Players like something new and with Deadman Danny’s design, he will be bringing that and more.
For more on the release dates of the other heroes, please look at our updating article, Deadlock New Hero Release Schedule: When Does Each City Never Sleeps Hero Release?.
We will continue updating both that article and this one as each new hero is officially confirmed.
