The Most Expensive Skins to Ever Exist in CS:GO History

Publish Date: April 5, 2023

CS:GO skins have been around for quite some time. Throughout these years, Valve has introduced different skin classes. Some cheap, some mediocre, and some expensive. But, actually, there is a fourth, unique niche. The niche that goes above all the previous ones together. Ladies and gentlemen, here are the top 4 of CS:GO stunningly high-priced skins.

However, if you’ll feel the urge to get one of the pieces we are about to discuss, don’t rush into the Steam Market. There are other, cheaper ways to get them. For example, use CS:GO skin upgrader at Farmskins to fuse some of your cheaper skins into expensive ones.

Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore

Do you want to buy a couple of cars? Or maybe you should choose this AWP instead? Don’t laugh, as they are worth each other!

Even though we can’t name a certain price of the AWP Dragon Lore, it is worth tens of thousands of dollars. Some folks on the net even say they bought it for over $200 000!

The reason for such crazy pricing is the availability of the gun. The thing is, it could be dropped only out of a cobblestone collection box. And guess now, what has happened to it? This box is no longer available. You could obtain it solely by watching cobblestone competitive matches. But they are not in a draft for a long time.

The skin itself is beautiful. It is painted in beige, orange, and yellow tones. Altogether, this palette creates a picture of the dragon blasting the fire in the barrel’s direction. No doubt, when this skin appears in a game, other players instantly ask themselves where the owner got it.

Karambit Case Hardened

Now let’s look at some sharper items. Not only in terms of the blade but in terms of the price too.

The factory new version of the Case Hardened Karambit skin has a price of over $100 000! But unlike the previous skin, this karambit is still obtainable through case opening. So what is the trick, then? And the trick here is a pattern.

When you get Karambit Case Hardened out of the case, it gets a random pattern index. This value changes the gun’s appearance, offsetting color stains on the blade. Just like the skins, some of these patterns are common, while others are extremely rare. The rarest one to appear on the Case Hardened Karambit is pattern 387. Or, as the community calls it, a Blue Gem, which paints the whole blade blue.

The knife itself is a classic case hardened-styled item. The weapon’s handle is solid matte black, while the blade is painted in blue, yellow, purple, and red stains.

Sport Gloves Pandora’s Box

Interestingly, you have to try hard to find gloves in real life at the same price as these.

Sport Gloves with a Pandora’s Box skin have had different prices on the market since their release in 2016. However, they have never dropped less than $20 000. While the peaking number was $30 000. Of course, we are talking about the factory’s new version here.

As the price attests, the rarity of this skin is not as high as the Karambit. It doesn’t have a rare pattern index or is currently unavailable. However, the chance of getting gloves is very low on its own. It doesn’t need additional modifiers to be a hell of a rare piece.

To create such beautiful skin, Valve needed just four colors: purple, black, gray, and blue. The fingertips on the outer part are painted vivid purple, while the central part of the glove is black with a gray mesh above. There are also a few light-gray lines above. The inner part is reinforced with rubber inserts on the palms and has a purple-blue abstract pattern behind it.

Butterfly Knife Crimson Web

And finally, let’s look at the skin cheaper than the last one, still not less exciting: Butterfly Knife Crimson Web.

The skin’s price ranges from $10 000 to $13 000 in the case of the StatTrak and factory new version. The most expensive Crimson Webs are like that due to the unique pattern index. To find it, we must look for the web centers. Skins with at least three of the on blades are the rarest ones.

The knife is adorned, commonly, only on its blade. It has a solid red background with thin spider webs weaving all over it. The handle remains just black.
