European RMR A — CS:GO IEM Rio Major 2022 qualifier. The RMR Tournament A will feature 16 teams that made it through the open qualifiers and entered the tournament based on the results of the previous Major. European RMR A matches will be held in Malta.
Following the results of the championship, 24 teams will be selected for the Autumn CSGO Major to compete for a $1 million prize pool. The list of participants is not at all surprising, because these names are always in the rankings of the best CSGO teams. 16 of them will start their performance from the Challengers stage. Eight more teams will start from the Legends stage.
The tournament was held from 4 to 9 October:

Team Liquid defeated Complexity Gaming. The confrontation ended with a score of 2:1 — 16:9 on Inferno, 14:16 on Overpass and 16:7 on Ancient. Kit NAF Markovic’s team managed to qualify for the match. In the decisive round, Team Liquid will play with Evil Geniuses. The winner will start the Major from the “legends” stage.
FaZe Clan defeated Sprout at the European RMR A of IEM Rio Major 2022. The meeting ended with a score of 2:1 (19:17 on Ancient, 16:19 on Nuke, 16:5 on Mirage). For Finn karrigan Andersen’s team, the victory was the third in the championship — the team managed to earn a slot at IEM Rio Major 2022. Now FaZe plays the Major in the “Legends”.
In the parallel match, Cloud9 and Ninjas in Pajamas also fought for the quota for the Major. At the time of publication of the material, the score in the match is 1:0 in favor of NiP.
