Khalil Mack might finally be ready to play football, as the Raiders and Bears have reportedly agreed to a deal according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Bears will receive Mack, a 2020 second-round pick and a conditional 2020 fifth-round pick, while the Raiders will get a 2019 first-round pick, a 2020 first-round pick, 2020 third-round pick and a 2019 sixth-round pick.
Mack had been sitting out the preseason as he waited on a new contract. He also had not communicated often with the Raiders or new head coach Jon Gruden, which led the team to trade him away.
Chicago tied for seventh in sacks last year with 42, so Mack will make a solid pass-rushing unit even better.
In his career, Mack has made three Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams. He has recorded 40.5 sacks in his four seasons in the league.
