The Baltimore Ravens will seemingly get rid of Joe Flacco this offseason with Lamar Jackson posting a 6-1 record down the stretch of the regular season. Flacco’s career likely isn’t over, so who will he play for next? Here are five potential landing spots for Joe Flacco.
1. Jacksonville Jaguars
All of the teams on this list will need a quarterback in some capacity and the Jaguars will be looking anywhere to improve their play at the position. Blake Bortles hasn’t been the answer and Cody Kessler wasn’t great when he filled in at the end of the season. While they do have an early first-round pick with which they could select a quarterback, the draft class is weak at the position.
The Jaguars will need to clear some cap room to trade for or sign Flacco, but there is a lot of time to do that. Flacco can rely on an offense that likes to try to run the ball a lot. He will just have to make key throws to help move the chains.

2. Washington Redskins
After the injuries to Alex Smith and Colt McCoy, the Redskins need a new quarterback. With Adrian Peterson and/or Derrius Guice running the ball well, they need a quarterback who can be a threat to make the offense dynamic. They did not make the playoffs, but they also will not have a high enough draft pick to get their favorite quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Can Flacco fit into an offense that requires short, accurate passes rather than deep throws? That’s a question Jay Gruden will have to answer, but the old adage says beggars can’t be choosers. Washington has enough cap space to trade for or sign Flacco, but they would be wiser to wait until he hits the free agent market.

3. Miami Dolphins
Now that the Dolphins have fired Adam Gase, Ryan Tannehill’s job is not safe. The team narrowly missed the playoffs, but they still have a lot of needs that have to be addressed if they want to be competitive. With the right coaching hire and Flacco, the Dolphins could be similarly competitive next season.
The Dolphins have traded away skill players over the last few seasons in Jarvis Landry and Jay Ajayi, so signing Flacco may not be the top priority, but they do still need to figure out the quarterback position. They could select a quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft and acquire Flacco to make sure they have a chance to win next season.
Vegas odds: +400
4. New York Giants
Is replacing Eli Manning with Joe Flacco really the solution? Maybe not permanently. The Giants will likely be selecting a quarterback early in the 2019 NFL Draft, but if things don’t go their way, they need to find a solution at quarterback.
Flacco could be an asset to the Giants by attacking downfield with throws to Odell Beckham Jr. Stretching out the defense with Beckham, should open up more holes for Saquon Barkley. They’ll have the cap space for either a trade or a signing, but would likely keep Manning and/or draft a quarterback rather than acquire Flacco.
Vegas odds: +550
5. Denver Broncos
John Elway can still not figure out the quarterback position. Case Keenum has regressed to the norm after a stellar 2017 season. They have a solid defense and running game with Philip Lindsay, but won’t be true competitors until they figure out the NFL’s most important position.
Flacco could be a holdover until the Broncos are able to acquire a franchise quarterback. Denver is in a similar situation as to some other teams on this list, where they may not be able to acquire a quarterback with their first-round draft choice that is worth the selection. The Broncos will have the cap space for either a trade or signing of Flacco.
