2019 NFL Mock Draft November 29

Publish Date: November 29, 2018

The NFL season is now in the back half of the schedule. Some teams are making a playoff push while others are preparing for the future. It is never too early to look ahead, so here is the 2019 NFL mock draft November 29.

1. San Francisco 49ers- Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

Bosa has withdrawn from Ohio State to focus on the NFL Draft after suffering a core muscle injury. That may change his stock, but for now, he is one of the most gifted players in the class. He finishes his college career with 29 tackles for loss and 17.5 sacks. San Francisco has used a lot of early-round picks on pass rushers, but still can’t get pressure on the quarterback.

2. Arizona Cardinals- Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

Arizona addressed the offense in this year’s draft, but need to focus on the defense now. Williams has had the biggest rise so far. He went from being virtually unknown to showing he can be one of the most disruptive players in the draft class.

3. Oakland Raiders- Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson

Jon Gruden has already mentioned how tough it is to find a good pass rusher…after trading away Khalil Mack. They need to address every level of the defense and Ferrell can help them get after the quarterback. He has 26 sacks over the last three seasons for Clemson.

4. New York Giants- Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

The Giants need to cut ties with Eli Manning and honestly, it’s past due. They have the playmakers on offense but need to get the ball downfield. Herbert is the best quarterback in the class  He has led Oregon to some big wins, but does have games in which he is turnover prone. He is especially good at getting the ball down the field.

5. New York Jets- Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

Derrick Brown, who has a huge body to fill in the middle of the defensive line. The Jets need to bolster the front seven of their defense and can start with one of the many talented defensive tackles in the class.

6. Jacksonville Jaguars- Drew Lock, QB, Missouri

The Jaguars are in such a unique situation. Blake Bortles has now been benched. They definitely have more issues than the quarterback position, but need to address it. Lock isn’t a sure-fire franchise quarterback, but has shown flashes of potential throughout his career at Missouri.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Josh Allen, LB, Kentucky

Tampa Bay’s offense has been mostly good this season with a few bad games. They still need to figure out the quarterback situation, but won’t want to reach. If they choose that route, they need to improve their defense. Allen is one of the best pass-rushers in the class, but also has the ability to drop back into coverage.

8. Buffalo Bills- Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss

Last offseason, the Bills lost a lot from their offensive line. Eric Wood and Richie Incognito retired, while Cordy Glenn was traded to the Bengals. They’ll need to protect Josh Allen as much as possible next year. Little is now the unquestioned number one tackle prospect in the class with Trey Adams being out for the rest of the season.

9. Detroit Lions- Devin White, LB, LSU

White is a player who can do everything on the defensive side of the field. His biggest assets are his speed and physicality. The Lions could use a lot of help on defense and White could be a leader from day one.

10. Atlanta Falcons- Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

Some have soured on Oliver, but he is still one of the most impressive players in college football. This class has so many good defensive linemen and Ed Oliver may be the best in the class. He does go to a school in the AAC, but that was by choice, as he got recruited by almost everyone. Atlanta is a team that needs help all over on defense.

11. Cleveland Browns- Jeffery Simmons, DT, Mississippi State

The Browns can use some more interior defensive linemen and luckily for them, this class is loaded at that position. Simmons specializes in shutting down the run and already has 15.5 tackles for loss on the season.

12. Green Bay Packers- Zach Allen, DE, Boston College

When Boston College played Clemson, Allen displayed his pass rushing ability to the whole world. Allen has had two great years in a row and even outplayed former BC defensive end Harold Landry at times.

13. Miami Dolphins- Greedy Williams, CB, LSU

The Dolphins are somehow 5-5 on the season, despite not having great talent. Miami could use an upgrade at corner. Williams is one of the most naturally talented corners in this draft class. The redshirt sophomore has eight interceptions in his young career and looks like he could even improve in the future if he works on his technique.

14. Cincinnati Bengals- Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia

Cincinnati has one of the worst defenses and could use help all over. Baker has been Georgia’s number one corner for two seasons and is a threat to take it back to the house every time he gets the ball in his hands, much like he did against South Carolina.

15. Denver Broncos- Raekwon Davis, DT/DE, Alabama

Denver needs a new quarterback, but might not want to pull the trigger after signing Case Keenum. They’ll definitely need to address it at some point. They do need help on the interior of their defensive line and can take Davis to help them. Davis is a physical freak of nature at 6-foot-7 and 316 pounds and currently plays 3-4 defensive end, but could play 4-3 tackle if asked.

16. Tennessee Titans- A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss

Brown is an athletic wide receiver who can produce if given the opportunity. Corey Davis has stepped up, but if the Titans want Marcus Mariota to be more successful, they’ll need to get him more weapons.

17. Philadelphia Eagles- Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama

Diggs has had a good season, but is now out with a broken foot. His tape should still warrant a first-round selection. The Eagles weren’t great at corner to start the year and now have a bunch of injuries. They may want to add more depth at the position.

18. Washington Redskins- Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma

Brian Quick is playing at receiver for Washington. They need to get more help at the position. Brown is the fastest wide receiver in this draft class. He has great acceleration and makes great cuts in the open field.

19. Seattle Seahawks- Rashan Gary, DT/DE, Michigan

Gary can play multiple positions across the defensive line, although he hasn’t lived up to the hype he had as a top recruit. The Seahawks are running the ball well and need to revamp the defense now to help get them the ball back to control the clock.

20. Oakland Raiders (via Dallas)- Devin Bush, LB, Michigan

As stated earlier, Oakland has to get better on defense. Bush is an undersized, yet fast and can cover. He could play a lot like Derrick Brooks did for Gruden on the Buccaneers.

21. Baltimore Ravens- Montez Sweat, DE/OLB, Mississippi State

Baltimore’s pass rushers are aging and they need to get a new age of athletes in the door. Sweat has 11.5 on the season and can fill the void.

22. Indianapolis Colts- Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson

Andrew Luck finally has an offensive line that will protect him. The Colts still have a bad defense and need to fix that if they really want to compete again. Wilkins is a good pass rusher from the inside and would be the best defensive tackle on the team.

23. Carolina Panthers- Cody Ford, G, Oklahoma

The Panthers lost Andrew Norwell in free agency before this season and haven’t done enough to replace him. Taking Ford will allow their young core of skill position players to be productive.

24. Minnesota Vikings- Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama

Minnesota’s defense has been disappointing this season and it needs to be addressed. Their linebackers have been specifically disappointing this season and they might want to add another one.

25. Pittsburgh Steelers- Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State

Oruwariye had four interceptions last season and has three this season, as he uses his length to his advantage. The Steelers are really weak at corner and have an aging Joe Haden.

26. Oakland Raiders (via Chicago)- Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama

Alabama lost both safeties after last season, but Thompson has helped fill that void. The Raiders defense already beefed up the corner and defensive end position and with Thompson could really improve for next season.

27. Houston Texans- Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

The Texans have given up a lot of sacks and need to protect Deshaun Watson who is getting banged up. Williams hasn’t played as well as expected this season, but in a weak tackle class, will probably get drafted highly.

28. Los Angeles Chargers- Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson

Dexter Lawrence will help stop the run with his athleticism. He even lines up on offense sometimes for Clemson. The Chargers’ defense is already good and can get better with improvement at defensive tackle.

29. New England Patriots- Dre’Mont Jones, DT, Ohio State Buckeyes

Dre’Mont Jones has unique athleticism and a quick twitch for an interior player. New England isn’t the best in their defensive front seven.

30. Kansas City Chiefs- Tre Lemar, LB, Clemson

Lemar is a do-it-all linebacker who leads Clemson. The Chiefs could use him, as Reggie Ragland and Anthony Hitchens haven’t played great this season.

31. Los Angeles Rams- Ken Webster, CB, Ole Miss

Webster may be more of a day two prospect, but teams may be willing to reach for corners in this draft. While their two starters are good, the Rams could use more depth at the position.

32. Green Bay Packers (via New Orleans)- Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, S, Florida

The Packers traded away HaHa Clinton-Dix and now needs to find a replacement. Gardner-Johnson can play near the line of scrimmage and is good in space.
