2019 NFL Mock Draft March 26

The NFL combine is now over and teams have had a chance to meet with prospects. With that, they will start looking forward to the 2019 NFL Draft. Here is the 2019 NFL Mock Draft March 26.

1. Arizona Cardinals- Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

A lot has been made about Kyler Murray going number one, but until the dust settles on Josh Rosen being traded or another team trading up for the first pick, he won’t be mocked here. The Cardinals could pick Williams to play 3-4 defensive end, which is a need for them. Williams had an impressive combine and has had the biggest rise so far. He went from being virtually unknown to showing he can be one of the most disruptive players in the draft class.

2. San Francisco 49ers- Nick Bosa, Edge, Ohio State

Bosa performed solidly when he played, but still hasn’t seen the field since early in the college football season. With the selection, the 49ers can move Solomon Thomas to the inside and use Dee Ford and Bosa at defensive end. San Francisco has used plenty of first round picks on defensive linemen over the last several years. Unfortunately, defensive linemen are the players at the top of this class. They could be a candidate to trade back with a team that wants a quarterback.

3. New York Jets- Josh Allen, Edge, Kentucky

Allen is one of the best pass-rushers in the class, but also has the ability to drop back into coverage. If the Jets don’t get an offensive lineman to help protect Darnold, they should try to find a pass rusher to help their defense progress. With Jamal Adams and C.J. Mosely, Allen can help give the Jets a solid young defense.

4. Oakland Raiders- Rashan Gary, DE/DT, Michigan

How laughable is it that the Raiders had 13 sacks this season? Four players in the NFL had more sacks than the entire Raiders team. Gary has athleticism, speed and power and could produce more at the NFL level in a scheme that can use his talents.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Devin White, LB, LSU

Kwon Alexander is now gone and the Bucs need a linebacker outside of Lavonte David. White is a player who can do everything on the defensive side of the field. His biggest assets are his speed and physicality.

6. New York Giants- Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma

Growing consensus around the league is that Kyler Murray will be the first quarterback selected. Since this mock doesn’t predict trades, Murray is a solid fit for the Giants, especially with the reports out there that they are not interested in Dwayne Haskins. He is small in stature, but is a great athlete with solid accuracy.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars- Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

Williams didn’t play as well as expected this season, but will probably get drafted highly for his solid play over his career. The Jaguars need to get Leonard Fournette some running room, as when he is healthy and moving the chains, they are at their best.

8. Detroit Lions- Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia

Baker has been Georgia’s number one corner for two seasons and is a threat to take it back to the house every time he gets the ball in his hands, much like he did against South Carolina. The Lions signed Trey Flowers in free agency, so they may choose to beef up the secondary with their first pick.

9. Buffalo Bills- Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

With Kyle Williams retiring the Bills are thin on the interior of their defensive line. Some have soured on Oliver, but he is still one of the most impressive players in college football. This class has so many good defensive linemen and Ed Oliver may be the best in the class.

10. Denver Broncos- Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson

Denver now has Joe Flacco and have improved their offensive line through free agency. They’ll want to make sure that the interior of the defensive line doesn’t take a step back though. Wilkins can help improve the interior and also help with the pass rush.

11. Cincinnati Bengals- Devin Bush, LB, Michigan

The Bengals have cut Vontaze Burfict. Preston Brown is still in the fold, but he was injury prone last season. Cincinnati could use a linebacker like Devin Bush, even if it is a little bit early for him to be selected. Bush is an undersized, yet fast and can cover.

12. Green Bay Packers- D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss

Metcalf is one of the big winners at the combine measuring 6-foot-3 and 228 pounds, while running a 4.33-second 40-yard dash. He doesn’t have great agility, but with his size and speed, could entice teams to draft him early. The Packers have Davante Adams, but the rest of the receivers are suspect at best.

13. Miami Dolphins- Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

Because this mock draft doesn’t predict trades and the Jaguars have addressed their quarterback need elsewhere, Haskins has fallen here. This will not happen come draft day, as he will go top 10. With Adam Gase fired, there is no guarantee that the new head coach will want to keep Ryan Tannehill. Haskins threw for 50 touchdown passes and completed 70% of his passes, which are unprecedented marks.

14. Atlanta Falcons- Montez Sweat, Edge, Mississippi State

Vic Beasley is a shell of himself and Atlanta needs to get better pass rushers if they want to compete again. Sweat showed a great ability to get to the quarterback in his college career and impressed at the combine with his wide receiver-level speed.

15.  Washington Redskins- Daniel Jones, QB, Duke

Jones had a solid college career and is a projected first-round pick. Teams will like his size and that he was coached by the great David Cutcliffe. With Alex Smith’s injury, Washington needs a new quarterback. Washington reportedly favors Daniel Jones to other quarterbacks in the draft class.

16. Carolina Panthers- Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida

The Panthers need to protect Cam Newton as much as possible. They don’t necessarily need a tackle, but can move someone inside if necessary. Taylor has been a player who has climbed up draft boards recently because of his body control.

17. New York Giants- Brian Burns, Edge, Florida State

Burns could fit in nicely as a 3-4 outside linebacker or a 4-3 defensive end, but may need to do better against the run for the 4-3. The Giants have Markus Golden, but still need more pass rushers to make the defense more effective.

18. Minnesota Vikings- Cody Ford, OT/G, Oklahoma

Minnesota needs to improve their offensive line to help out Dalvin Cook and Kirk Cousins. Ford is very athletic and is rising up draft boards.

19. Tennessee Titans- Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma

Brown is the fastest wide receiver in this draft class. He has great acceleration and makes great cuts in the open field. Marcus Mariota has to get more weapons to be truly successful.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers- A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss

With Antonio Brown not coming back, the Steelers may want to get a few more wide receivers to help Ben Roethlisberger air the ball out. Brown is an athletic wide receiver who can produce if given the opportunity.

21. Seattle Seahawks- Greedy Williams, CB, LSU

Seattle is far from the “Legion of Boom” defense and needs a boost to their secondary. The redshirt sophomore has eight interceptions in his young career and looks like he could even improve in the future if he works on his technique.

22. Baltimore Ravens- Clelin Ferrell, Edge, Clemson

Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith are gone and Baltimore needs pass rushers. Ferrell can help them get after the quarterback and would be a good value pick.

23. Houston Texans- Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss

Little is possibly the best tackle in the class and just needs to improve his ability to finish plays with power. Houston has refused to address the offensive line and need to do so to prevent Deshaun Watson from getting banged up.

24. Oakland Raiders- Byron Murphy, CB, Washington

The Raiders can address their defensive line early in the draft, but the secondary is still a mess. Murphy will likely go at the end of round one or early round two as it currently stands.

25. Philadelphia Eagles- Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama

Jacobs is one of the top running backs in the draft class and has fresh legs. The Eagles failed to have a good running game last season and need to address it if they want to find success again.

26. Indianapolis Colts- Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson

The Colts addressed their need for a pass rusher by signing Justin Houston. They can get better on the interior of the defensive line by draft Lawrence. Lawrence provides a huge presence in the middle of the line to eat up blockers.

27. Oakland Raiders- T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa

With the defense already addressed in this mock draft and free agency, the Raiders can try to make their offense more dynamic. Hockenson is a tight end who doesn’t have any glaring weaknesses.

28. Los Angeles Chargers- Dre’Mont Jones, DT, Ohio State

Dre’Mont Jones has unique athleticism and a quick twitch for an interior player. The Chargers have good pass rushers, but need better tackles.

29. Kansas City Chiefs- Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama

The Chiefs linebackers aren’t great and they really need to address the defense in this draft.  Alabama’s top linebacker seemingly always goes in the first round and Wilson warrants a first-round selection.

30. Green Bay Packers- Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State

With Rodgers aging, it is best to start building up the offensive line even more. The Packers don’t necessarily need a tackle, but Dillard could be a back up or move to guard to make the offense more improved.

31. Los Angeles Rams- Julian Love, CB, Notre Dame

Love has great ball skills and could start from day one. The Rams don’t have too many needs and can load up on corners.

32. New England Patriots- Noah Fant, TE, Iowa

The Patriots now need to replace Rob Gronkowski after his retirement. Fant is one of the most athletic tight ends in the class and can be a fit for the Patriots.
