UNLV Fires Head Coach Tony Sanchez

UNLV has fired head coach Tony Sanchez according to Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman.

Sanchez was in his fifth season with the school and posted a 19-40 record. He did not appear in a bowl game in his time at UNLV. This season the Runnin’ Rebels are 3-8. Sanchez will coach in the last game of the season against Nevada.

The Rebels hired Sanchez after he had a very successful stint as head coach of Bishop Gorman High School in the Nevada.
