The college football season is approaching. There is always debate over ranking the best players in the sport. Here are the top 25 college football interior offensive linemen heading into the 2026 season.
Note: There is some projection in these rankings for the upcoming season. These are not NFL Draft rankings, but rather focus on the best players in college football.
25. Anthony Boswell, Houston Cougars
After redshirting at Purdue in 2024, Boswell was a First Team All-MAC selection for Toledo in 2025. In 2026, he will be suiting up for Houston as they try to compete in the Big 12.
24. Laurence Seymore, Texas Longhorns
Seymore was a FWAA Second Team All-American at Western Kentucky in 2025. As an older player, he will now compete for a spot on Texas’s offensive line to see if he can hold up against better competition.
23. Addison Nichols, SMU Mustangs
From Tennessee to Arkansas to SMU, Nichols has made the rounds. He started 13 games for SMU last season and held up well for a solid Mustangs offense.
22. Bruce Mitchell, BYU Cougars
Mitchell was one of the top 15 centers in the country last season according to PFF, grading out well in both run and pass blocking. He is one of two returning starters on an offensive line that should help the team compete in the Big 12.
21. Braelin Moore, LSU Tigers
Moore has started at guard and center over the last three seasons at Virginia Tech and LSU. While LSU struggled last season, he allowed just one sack last season and should help the offense improve this season.
20. Noah Josey, Virginia Cavaliers
Josey was a Third Team All-ACC selection by Phil Steele for his play last season at Virginia. The three-year starter will be a part of a solid offensive line that will need to help the skill position players come along.
19. Drew Bobo, Georgia Bulldogs
Bobo battled injuries in his first year as a starter, but still started 11 games. He’ll anchor a Georgia offensive line at center that will be looking to spring more big plays.
18. Luke Montgomery, Ohio State Buckeyes
Montgomery was an AFCA Second Team All-American last season and was a bright spot on the Ohio State offensive line. He’ll be hoping to help Ohio State win the national championship after starting in the last one.
17. Wendell Moe, Tennessee Volunteers
Moe started his career at Arizona and then last year battled well in the SEC, earning All-SEC First Team honors. He’ll be blocking for a new quarterback this season, but should be a part of a good unit.
16. Brady Small, Army Black Knights
Small has blocked well for Army’s option attack and helped them win the Joe Moore Award in 2024 as the country’s best offensive line. He has been an American Conference First Team selection the last two seasons and should have another good season this year.
15. Drew Evans, Indiana Hoosiers
Evans has been a big part of Indiana’s rise as a starter on the offensive line the last two seasons. The offensive line still has plenty of talent to be one of the better units in the country.
14. Brandon Baker, Texas Longhorns
Texas is moving Baker inside to guard this season after he saw success at right tackle in 2025. The move could make him and the team even better as they try to get a national championship.
13. Sheridan Wilson, Texas Tech Red Raiders
In 2025, Wilson was an All-Big 12 Third Team selection as he helped the Red Raiders make the CFP. This season, he will be hoping to help the offense do more once the team reaches the CFP.
12. Coleton Price, Kentucky Wildcats
Price jumped into the starting lineup at Baylor during the 2023 season and hasn’t looked back. He will join Will Stein’s Kentucky roster that features a lot of impact transfers.
11. Shadre Hurst, Houston Cougars
After earning some All-American and All-Freshman honors at Tulane, Hurst is joining Houston and his former head coach Willie Fritz. The Cougars have put an emphasis on their offensive line in the portal and should have a good interior.
10. Ezomo Oratokhai, Northwestern Wildcats
Oratokhai started for the first time last season and earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention. He excelled at pass blocking and should be a bright spot for Northwestern this season.
9. Coen Echols, Texas A&M Aggies
Echols found success at LSU before transferring to Texas A&M this season. He will be a part of a good offensive line for the Aggies this season.
8. Justin Evans, Nebraska Cornhuskers
Evans paved the way for Emmett Johnson to have a great 2025. He has played both guard and center during his time, finding success at both spots.
7. Greg Johnson, Minnesota Golden Gophers
An All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection last season, Johnson has played all over the offensive line. He should find a home on the interior and can help Drake Lindsey progress as a quarterback by giving him more time.
6. Evan Tengesdahl, Cincinnati Bearcats
Tengesdahl was an All-American last season, which was his first as a starter. Although he could’ve gone pro, Tengesdahl returns to the Bearcats as one of the best linemen in college football.
5. Kade Pieper, Iowa Hawkeyes
PFF named Pieper a First Team All-American in 2025 and he seems like the next great Iowa offensive lineman. He has excelled at run blocking in his career.
4. Michael Carroll, Alabama Crimson Tide
Carroll was a Freshman All-American last season who played both guard and tackle. He is playing on the inside this year and is hoping to give a boost to Alabama’s run game.
3. Anthonie Knapp, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
A Freshman All-American in 2024, Knapp has been a great offensive lineman for the Fighting Irish. After playing tackle, Knapp is moving inside this year, where he is a big part of Notre Dame’s big expectations for the year.
2. Austin Siereveld, Ohio State Buckeyes
Siereveld has played both tackle and guard during his college career. He could’ve entered the 2027 NFL Draft and been picked in the first few rounds, but instead, decided to return to help the Buckeyes offensive line.
1. Iapani Laloulu, Oregon Ducks
Laloulu was a First Team All-American for Oregon as he helped them make their second straight CFP in 2025. Laloulu can help lead Oregon further in the CFP this season.
