The college football season is approaching. There is always debate over ranking the best players in the sport. Here are the top 25 college football interior offensive linemen heading into the 2024 season.
Note: While projection of what a player can be is considered, most rankings are from what has been seen on the field. These are not NFL Draft rankings, but rather focus on the best players in college football.
25-21
25. Anez Cooper, Miami Hurriances
Cooper was an All-ACC Honorable Mention last season. There is a lot of hope for the Hurricanes this season and Cooper can really help the offense.
24. Seth McLaughlin, Ohio State Buckeyes
McLaughlin started his career off at Alabama, but now is it Ohio State. He has blocked well, but has had some noted snap issues in his career.
23. Gus Hartwig, Purdue Boilermakers
Last season, Hartwig was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention for Purdue. The center will be trying to help Purdue get back to a bowl game this season.
22. Maurice Smith, Florida State Seminoles
Smith has been starting games for Florida State since 2020. In 2023, he was named All-ACC Honorable Mention and now will hope to build on that.
21. Michael Mokofisi, Utah Utes
The Utes have had Mokofisi starting at guard for the last two seasons. He was All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention last season and now will lead Utah into the Big 12.

20. Tyler Cooper, Minnesota Golden Gophers
The left side of Minnesota’s offensive line is great this season with Cooper being a part of it. He will pair with tackle Aireonte Ersery on that side of the line.
19. Logan Jones, Iowa Hawkeyes
Iowa has a good offensive line and it starts in the middle with Jones at center. He was Third Team All-Big Ten last season.
18. Joe Michalski, Oklahoma State Cowboys
Michalski was named Honorable Mention for Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2023. His play helped spring Ollie Gordon for extra yards, which is a job he will have again in 2024.
17. Connor Colby, Iowa Hawkeyes
After earning Third Team All-Big Ten last season, Colby is back on the Iowa offensive line. The offensive line playing well, along with a new coordinator, could help Iowa vastly improve on offense.
16. Josh Priebe, Michigan Wolverines
Priebe has started for the last three seasons for Michigan, helping them win two Joe Moore Awards for the nation’s top offensive line. He’ll be back as one of the more experienced players on the Michigan offense.

15. Willie Lampkin, North Carolina Tar Heels
Lampkin was Third Team All-ACC last season protecting Drake Maye. The North Carolina offense will have some new faces, but Lampkin brings some stability.
14. Jake Slaughter, Florida Gators
During last season, Slaughter found a spot at center and performed well. With more time this season, he should improve even more.
13. Jaeden Roberts, Alabama Crimson Tide
Roberts broke into the starting lineup last season and didn’t disappoint. He returns to the offensive line, which has a few notable players for this season.
12. Jake Majors, Texas Longhorns
In 2023, Majors was an Honorable Mention All-Big 12. His play helped Texas get to the CFP last year and will hope to do the same in 2024.
11. Cooper Mays, Tennessee Volunteers
Mays has been a full-time starter for the last two seasons and saw some time before that as well, although he battled injuries. He will be blocking for Nico Iamaleava this season as he takes the reins of the offense.

10. Cayden Green, Missouri Tigers
Green started his career out at Oklahoma, but is transferring to Missouri for this season. After they won 11 games last season, Green will bolster the interior of the offensive line.
9. Dylan Fairchild, Georgia Bulldogs
The 2023 season gave Fairchild his first chance to start and he impressed. Having him back at left guard will help Georgia try to return to the CFP.
8. Eli Cox, Kentucky Wildcats
Cox was named All-SEC Second Team last season. He is one of the best centers in the country and this season he can help Kentucky really improve on offense.
7. Luke Kandra, Cincinnati Bearcats
Kandra played two seasons at Louisville, then transferred to Cincinnati last season. He was First Team All-Big 12 last season and is one of the best players on the Cincinnati roster.
6. Clay Webb, Jacksonville State Gamecocks
Webb was at Georgia before transferring to Jacksonville State. Last season he received a lot of recognition for his play and now in 2024 is one of the best linemen in the sport.

5. Tyler Booker, Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama has started Booker for the last two seasons and he has produced. He returns to the interior of the Alabama offensive line, which will be one of the best units in the sport.
4. Donovan Jackson, Ohio State Buckeyes
Jackson has earned All-Big Ten honors twice in his career. Ohio State has talent all over and the blocking up front from Jackson can help them produce.
3. Jonah Monheim, USC Trojans
Monheim has 34 starts across the offensive line, but will play center in 2024. His play will help new starter Miller Moss adjust to his new role.
2. Tate Ratledge, Georgia Bulldogs
Ratledge is coming off a season where he earned Second Team All-American honors. He has been getting experience since 2021 and has helped Georgia win national championships, which he’ll try to do again in 2024.
1. Parker Brailsford, Alabama Crimson Tide
Brailsford started at Washington last season, leading them to the National Championship Game. The First Team Freshman All-American from last season followed head coach Kalen DeBoer from Washington to Alabama.
