After weeks of rumors, Texas State has been added to the new-look Pac-12, the conference announced on Monday.
The Bobcats will join Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon State, San Diego State, Utah State and Washington State. Gonzaga will play basketball only and the conference needed eight teams for football to be officially recognized as a conference.
Texas State will join the Pac-12 in 2026 after they completed a buyout to leave the Sun Belt Conference.
