The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have fired their head football coach Chris Ash on Sunday according to Keith Sargeant.

Ash was 8-32 in his fours seasons at the school after coming in from Ohio State. This year, Rutgers is 1-3 and is coming off of a 52-0 loss to MIchigan.

According to Brett McMurphy, Rutgers has already reached out to Butch Jones, Jim Leavitt and former head coach Greg Schiano about the opening.
