Michigan didn’t have their head coach on the sidelines, but they were able to grind out a win over Penn State. Their defense specifically played well, allowing just 15 points. Jenkins played well on the defensive front for the Wolverines, as he finished the game with two total tackles.
Penn State was able to pick up some rushing yards, but Michigan limited big plays. A lot of that was thanks to Jenkins doing his job in the middle of the defensive line. He took on blocks well and allowed others to make plays. His play likely helped his stock a little bit, bu he is still a projected day-two pick.
Penn State didn’t allow many points, but still lost to Michigan. They couldn’t stop the run well, which didn’t give the too many opportunities to defend the pass. King played ok, but did have a pass interference call that cost the Nittany Lions. He totaled two tackles in the game.
After a bad game against Ohio State, this game likely won’t help King’s stock. He didn’t have too many reps in coverage and the pass interference won’t help either. King is still a projected first-round pick, but will need to play better down the stretch to go in the top 10 of the NFL Draft as some had projected.
Georgia stayed undefeated with a dominating performance against Ole Miss. They won the game 52-17 with their offense playing great. The Bulldogs had a few players return from injuries in this game including Mims. At right tackle, Mims showed why he is a valued draft prospect despite limited starts.
Mims has great size and athleticism. He helped protect Carson Beck and also cleared running lanes for a big game on the ground for the Bulldogs. Mims needs more reps to really solidify his stock, but he has played well and should be a first-round pick.
Oregon kept their CFP hopes alive with a win over USC. The win also puts them in a good position for the Pac-12 Championship. The defense helped slow down Caleb Williams and the USC offense. Brandon Dorlus helped the defense achieve their goals with two total tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack.
Dorlus has good versatility and also has shown good production with five sacks on the season. His sack on Caleb Williams showed his motor, as he had to keep working to get to him. His versatility will make him a coveted draft prospect. He is currently projected to be a day two pick.
Washington also kept their undefeated season alive with a big win over Utah. The offense scored 35 points, which isn’t easy against Utah’s defense. Polk made some big plays for Washington to help move the chains. He had four catches for 55 yards.
Not only did he produce with his stats, Polk also drew a pass interference call. He played solidly, but with such a good wide receiver class, he is going to have to play even better to move up draft boards. Polk still has a chance to be selected late on day two.
