Leach has been a head coach for 18 seasons, spending eight with Washington State and 10 with Texas Tech. He has 139-90 overall record and has won seven bowl games. His crowning achievement at both schools was getting them to 11-win seasons.
Mississippi State is hiring Leach on the heels of firing Joe Moorhead following the season after two seasons.
The Bulldogs will now have a coach who operates the air raid offense. Leach’s team led the NCAA in passing last season.
