1. The first is that this will sign you up for a subscription. As of the initial publishing of this article, there is a deal where you can get EA Play for $0.99 for one month. Considering you only need this for at most a week before the game comes out, you can just cancel the automatic subscription whenever you get the full game.
2. The second is that you will only be able to play it for 10 hours before the game is locked again. For those who may not have a ton of time to play or even those who can maybe only play for an hour or two a night, this will not be much of an issue. For those who are looking to grind the game, you may be out of luck sadly.
