The University of Florida and the University of Georgia have agreed to continue playing their rivalry game at a neutral site for the 2024 and 2025 season. They will resume playing the game in Jacksonville, Florida at TIAA Bank Field. Pete Thamel announced the news.
The rivalry nicknamed “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” has been played in Jacksonville since 1933. Georgia leads the all-time series 55-44-2 and have won the last two matchups between the schools en route to National Championships.
There was some concern that the game couldn’t be played in Jacksonville due to construction on the stadium, but at least for the next three seasons, the game will be held there.
