NC State Quarterback Devin Leary Out for Season
Last week, it was noted that Devin Leary was injured and may miss some time. NC State has made it official that he will miss the remainder of the season after he has shoulder surgery. He is eligible for the 2023 NFL Draft, but could also return to school.
Indiana Quarterback Jack Tuttle Enters Transfer Portal
Indiana quarterback Jack Tuttle has entered the transfer portal. He has played over the last three seasons, but has not entered a game this season despite being a team captain. Tuttle will be a graduate transfer.
Maryland Quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa Leaves Game With Leg Injury
Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovialoa let the Maryland game against Indiana with a leg injury. He had an MRI on Sunday and his future status is unknown. UPDATE: It is now being regarded as a game-time decision against Northwestern.
Other News and Notes
- Tennessee was fined $100k for storming the field after upsetting Alabama.
- USF starting quarterback Gerry Bohannon will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
- Florida offensive lineman Joshua Braun has entered the transfer portal. He started in 2021, but has not this season, so he is now stepping away to preserve his redshirt.
- Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan left a week 7 game against Illinois with an upper body injury. He has not been ruled out for this Saturday’s game against Northwestern.
- Mississippi State player Sam Westmoreland has passed away.
- Oregon State quarterback Chance Nolan will be out this weekend as the Beavers take on Colorado. Nolan has failed to pass the concussion protocol.
